Why Channel map isn't included for Normandy 2.0 map?

I cant find info about it in the FAQ.

Normandy 2.0 covers this area too so I think there's no reason why it shouldn't be together, am I right?

BUT according the map of N 2.0 this part hasnt Hight Detail Area.

Maybe it will be update in the future? Anyone knows something about it?

The best way is to have only one BIG map and in summary for me N 2.0 after purchase should erase N.44 and Channel map, so as not to duplicate the same on my disk.

Channel Map is from ED if I'm not mistaken, whereas Normandy is from Ugre.

Also the Channel is already in the modern Map-technologie, whereas the now obsolete Normandy 1.0 wasn't and therefore had to be upgraded.

Not that I wouldn't enjoy or appreciate a merged single "Europe" Map, but those are the reasons I can come up with.

Yes I remember this. This can actually be an obstacle in the way of map merge, unless ED or Ugra would buy the map from the partner .

Surely it would be the best solution for the user, since we have the same region from the same period here (WW2) to have one BIG map with the same quality on the whole area. 

I'm sure many would pay a bit more for such an update again ;). Regards!

 

Btw. why this topic was moved to N'99 wishlist, better corner is wishlist of N'2.0. I didnt write about N'44 :>.

Remember ED Nick Grey has plans to build BoB modules, and surely, "expand" the channel map.

Since they are using same latest "new technology" and are managed by ED I would have expected this "small" aspect not to be overlooked. I mean what are you going to do when finally you will have a round whole Earth map? Not only I expect you will charge again 9.99 but you will still have to change basically planets to switch from a a little bit more detailed Channel to a little bit more detailed London?
Does that sound right to you? My opinion is this is a multiplayer suicide strategy.
