All Progress Lost

I think after the last pat ch all of my progress was lost.  My logbook started over, and all my campaigns reverted back to mission 1 with no points.  Is there any way to restore this?

You have some sort of cloud backup (OneDrive, Carbonite etc) of your PC? This is stored in your C Saved Games DCS directory in the logbook.

No, I don't.  My system clock has not been keeping up date and time lately, could that have had an effect on things?  Sometimes when I start DCS it says it can't start and that it is using saved data instead (unless I manually synch time first).  Could that be it?

Your logbook, is stored in your saved games directory, Saved Games\dcs\MissionEditor, in logbook.lua, that's on your local machine, so it shouldn't be impacted by the timing issue... Something else changed...

Same just happened to me. All campaigns reset after todays update.

This is really annoying and frustrating. PLEASE, do something about this!

if this were an update’s fault then everyone would be affected, it must be something else .. have you moved your DCS program folder? The campaign’s status is tied to the campaign’s path on disk, so moving the folder would affect it.

If you have not moved the folder, then attach your logbook.lua file to look for more clues.

I have not moved anything, I attach my logbook.lua.

In case you wonder, I continued my "V for Victory" campaign by skipping all the missions I had done already.

I went on yesterday to carry on with the campaigns and all my progress was lost (could have happened a few months ago though as I don't play this much anymore), I had to make a new pilot as it said my original pilot was dead. Lost all campaign progress and medals due to having to make a new pilot.

You might want to make your new pilot INVULNERABLE in the logbook.  If you don't and you die in a mission that pilot is dead and gone.

I always tick invulnerable, maybe because I haven't played for a while my pilot got run over while he was on leave, or eaten by a shark whilst scuba diving, it could have been a mugging gone wrong, I know he liked Australia, so maybe he got lost in the bush. Anyway, I have hired a Private Investigator to try and find out what happened to him, I owe that to his family.

if its just a dead pilot .. you might be able to edit the logbook lua file and undead him
