Can't download campaign

I purchased this a few days ago. Every time I try to download I get an error message. I am running the latest Multi Thread version. Which is 2.8.3.37556. I also tried running the non multi thread beta version and downloading the campaign. I got the same message. I tried logging out and back in. Still nojoy. Log file below.

Your 2.8.3.37556 is two months old by now. Latest version of the Open Beta build is 2.8.5.40170. 

Try updating DCS and see if that fixes it for you.

Yes it could be this. Second, its not a foul of the campaign but in this situation Eagle Dynamics, so better to ask on general part of the forum, like here for example: https://forum.dcs.world/forum/484-installation-problems/

You have to update your MT version manually. MT doesnt work with auto update.

OK, forgive an old man, but how do I update DCS. It has always automatically updated before. I don't see anywhere on the opening page where it offers an update link.

looks complex but it’s actually not hard, the command to use is  “dcs_updater update”
