For those of you who have not noticed this - the files are all in the game but it's not appearing in the ME - Yet !

Potential Livery for Karl Doorman.

diego999 - Lo siento - mi espanol no es muy bueno.  I do know a little Spanish but I didnt check it properly before I posted, sorry !!

Timex3 - Its a Core game model in the South Atlantic Map, the files are already in the game but they appear to have blocked it appearing in the Mission Editor for now,  I suspect its not quite ready yet.

Hi CrazyEddie. There's an issue in the ara_vdm.lua. 
I'm checking the lines of code . When I 've found the guilty I will upload the corrected file here.

Probably they did not put that boat into the game yet (officially) coz DCS can handle 4 arresting wires maximum, currently. I guess RB an HB (Forrestal) wainting for implemantition  of increased numbers of arresting wires by ED.
AFAIK Marianas-Guam-Andersen_AFB runways (both) got only/no more than 4 invisible (but working) arresting-wires as well. (works/can be catch by FC3 ACs: F-15C/Su-33-hook too)

Hi .

I've found what was the problem.

It was this line of code: set_recursive_metatable(GT.WS[ws], GT_t.WS_t.Bofors_40mm) . Replaced by :set_recursive_metatable(GT.WS[ws], GT_t.WS_t.phalanx ) and all it's ok 

You can find the corrected lua file at the bottom of the page

Hi Eddie . It's not a SEM you're showing in the second picture but an étendard IV.

This is a SEM (super étendard modernisé)

South Atlantic Assets is a part of DCS World's common contents, outside of South Atlantic Map.
Even not purchase / not install South Atlantic Map, RN / ARA / AC ships are available for all players. 25 Mayo's 3d/2d files are also exist.

The file that you need to replace is in tech\SouthAtlanticAssets\Entries\Navy\

(ara_vdm.lua)

Btw, you can also use  GT_t.WS_t.ship_Oerlikon_20 instead of GT_t.WS_t.phalanx. Feels closer to the 40mm Bofors than the phalanx ^^

Wouldn't even bother modelling it as after the Belgrano went to sleep with the fish, They kept de Mayo in dock for the rest of the war 🙂
