SubVision Posted June 11, 2023 Posted June 11, 2023 (edited) Looking at F-15E loadout, you made that all CFT pylons are grouped as single slot. That limits loadout options very much and requires adding all possible combinations of loadouts. And it strikes at pilots who fly BlueFlag-like missions where bomb count is limited. Please at least separate those to 2 levels so 2 weapon types can be combined on CFT hardpoints. Edited June 11, 2023 by SubVision 5
Steel Jaw Posted June 11, 2023 Posted June 11, 2023 What it released? "You see, IronHand is my thing" My specs: W10 Pro, I5/11600K o/c to 4800 @1.32v, 64 GB 3200 XML RAM, Red Dragon 7800XT/16GB.
SubVision Posted June 11, 2023 Author Posted June 11, 2023 It was added in game files with last update and wiped out with hotfix 1
Gasman Posted June 11, 2023 Posted June 11, 2023 This was done as combining munitions on the CFT is not possible. You can have up to 6 iron bombs (mk82, or less Mk84, CBUs, etc), 4 GBU-12 or less of 10, 3 IAM (JDAM, WCMD) or 2 AAM on each CFT. 7 1

A) can't mix weapons on CFTs B) can't have 3x65s and weapons on the CFTs. (At least the uppers iirc) you can clearly see why in the picture 2 1

I understand that 3x65 overlap, it was just to check how they look Edited June 11, 2023 by SubVision
ito21 Posted June 11, 2023 Posted June 11, 2023 It's a limitation of the aircraft. Treat the CFT like a MER that only has 3 smart capable pylons 3 1

The only way i see it is that there are single option in data-cartrige for CFT loadout

So if you have a mix of 38s and 82, the jet will only know it has all 82 or all 38 on the pylon. 3 1 476th Discord | 476th Website | Swift Youtube Ryzen 5800x, RTX 4070ti, 64GB, Quest 2
J3ST3R Posted March 7, 2024 Posted March 7, 2024 (edited) Recently listened to a 10 percent true podcast with starbaby (ex SE wso) and he said they used to regularly carry 2 Aim9s 2 Aim120s 2 Aim7s 2 Tanks And 2 GBU10s. Surely they only way you can carry all that is to have the gbu10s and Aim7s on the lower CFTs? Is there other any way you can have this load out? J3ST3R Posted March 7, 2024 Posted March 7, 2024 So is this due to a limitation with DCS rather than the actual jet? INTEL i9 9900k @ 5Ghz, Asus Z390 strix ROG, 32gb 3200mhz Ram, Nvidia GTX 1080Ti, Corsair RM850i, Corsair H110i,, HP REVERB, Win 10 64bit. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

No, it is a real limitation and how the weapons are carried i.e. an example of GBU-12's on one side and AIM-7's on the other over Iraq in 1999. 1 i9 9900K @4.8GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 11 Pro x64, Odyssey G93SC 5120X1440
