JDAM?

Yeah i went into the .lua file and i just removed some "restriction" you can do it on your own, you need NOTEPAD+. The F15E .lua is located in the coremods/f15e in you're DCS install.

Dont forget to make a backup file and if you have absolutely no clue what your are doing, take some time on google to learn a bit about it.

So far, GBU31 work for sure, i havent test GBU38, GBU54 dosent show up on page, GBU15 dosent work, nor MAV / AGM130 / AGM 154. On the other end, AIM9X does work, GBU27 and GBU28 also work. So it's a sort a "try and error". I think those last 2 werent add into the release due to "old model". But i dont mind so much.

PS : This is an early acces, modifying the .lua to access unfinished feature come with possibles issues.

hope it's not for end of year or next year ... F15 + gbu38 will be amazing. Actually with our loadout it's not possible to strike in mission with many SAM.

Well, actually you should have a SEAD/DEAD flight and an escort of F-15C... Multirole does not mean everything at once.

JDAM and JSOW are nice, but LGB and toss bombing are your friend, as well. 😉

IF I did it right, there's multiple lines. I figured it out by looking at it. It's actually really simple. I was surprised at what they setup the Eagle to carry from the beginning.

There is a few ones to edits, but whenever you'll open the lua file you'll see green text within "--{"    .... "}--", the "--{}--" are some sort of "stop" in lua code (to be honest i barely know that stuff, just enought to understand the very very basics) when you remove them, it allow the code to be "read".

There is left and right pylon for AIM9X, and some GBU/AGMs, then you have a left CFT text-bloc and a right CFT text-bloc. By simply reading the line you'll sort it out.

You can also access Litening and Sniper pod, Litenin is clearly WIP you got boot sequence and some stuff but is non-fonctional, Sniper is totaly non fonctional.

I saw the pods too. I didn't mess with those since I didn't see the ASQ-28 ATFLIR on there. I did free up AIM-9X for the wings. I also did the JDAMs and the AFM-154 series. I haven't tried anything yet cause that was at about 10:30pm last night and wanted to go to bed. I'll try it tonight after work or tomorrow. Could of all been for nothing.

JDAM work well in "direct mode", i release level from 4nm away and they hit 9 times out of 10. As for AGM's i dont know, most seem non-fonctional.

direct mode ? by using TPOD designate function ?

So it's may be possible to use wpt no ?

=> 1) add WPT 2) slave tpod to wpt 3) tdc depress 4) release and k-boom

Did you try GBU38 ? at more distance ? (4Nm for DEAD is not very usefull ^^)

direct mode ?

direct mode means you press weapon release button and the jdam will drop, with no assistence on mfds or hud. you will not see any DLZ and the plane will not prevent you from releasing the bomb at the wrong time. you have to guesstimate when to release the jdam because no DLZ.

it guides to target designation, source doesnt matter.

this already works in DCS.

From target designation on TPOD for ex. Then coordinates are punched into the smart(eh?) bomb so it knows where to land.

In order to enable the aim-9x, what would i have to delete here? And do i also have to do it for every entry of aim9x?

move the --[[ from before the "{ CLSID " to after the closing }. each opening { had a corresponding closing } i hope that helps you find the correct one. or just remove all of the --[[ and --]]

its all lua so if you want more info on comments in lua you can read here for example

GBU-54 works fine, similar as GBU-38. One small issue is that, in my test runs the auto-lasing often fail to work for it, but you can still manually lase the target and it will track the laser spot normally.

GBU-27/28 can be dropped, but they do not track laser spot right now...
