need track replay tacan not showing distance on hsi

try to select any tacan freq, put TCN on hsi, T/R on ded   but distance never appear in top left of hsi......

I just tested this in Closed Beta using a new KC-130 broadcasting TACAN. As you can see in the DED, I am tracking it (TKR) and on the HSI you have the bearing (blue arrow) and range (8.2nm).

Please make sure the TACAN is correctly configured in ME.
If you are sure, please conduct a repair.
If, after that, you still see issues, please supply a track so we can analyse what's going on.

How far away from the TACAN where you?

 

If i'm not mistaken, TACAN doesn't give range information, if you are out of range, only a bearing

If you're out of range, it naturally won't give you anything

How silly now i read that back 

 

let me rephrase that...

If i'm not mistaken, the tankers in DCS are bearing only on Y band and make sure to set TACAN to A-A, airfields give you both bearing and distance on X band
