MT version crash - Started yesterday

Hi All,

Been running MT since the start and had no issues  - now I am getting a crash after about 15 -30 mins, only started happening after the latest patch. Ticket being worked on but suggestion to try core parking has had no difference. I have updated to the latest Nvidia drivers as well. ST appears to work ok but MT is much better for performance (although not if it doesnt work!)

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, 

please remove all unofficial mods and run a slow repair or verify if steam. 

Things to try. 

You have plenty of RAM, so leave your pagefile on auto, it will free up some space. 

disable hotplug in DCS controls. 

Before your crash there were other devices showing in the log

Go to Options > Controls and click "Disable hot plug" at the bottom of the screen.

And the log file in the OP tells me you have more devices being detected by DCS:

Just to be clear - it was showing Disable hot plug and I changed the button and it says enable hot plug.

 

When I check the latest log it still show all the smart home devices.

Hm... I can't find the "hot plug" setting in Config/options.lua.

And it does not seem to change the state of the "pnp" setting in Config/Input/disabled.lua either.

Please try this:

1. Open your "Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\Input\disabled.lua".
2. If "pnp" is set to true, set it to false and check if that changes anything.

hello. the setting is still not showing in your dcs.log. look in your file starting line 14. you should have one more line stating the setting at line 21.

this is what my disabled.lua has in it. just an idea, if you are doing this in a text editor make sure the editor is not being saved misformatted.
