[31st] Spider Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 Since a few updates ago, I can no longer put a weapon on all stations 5, 6 and 7. When I load one on 6, and then on 5 or 7, the one on 6 is removed. If I put weapons on 5 and 7 and then on 6, the ones on 5 and 7 are gone. When I select a configuration with weapons on 5, 6 and 7 I made before the update that changed this, they are all loaded just fine. As long as I don't change any of the weapons on 5, 6 or 7.
Hive Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 It was corrected some while ago, because in real life life you can only use station 6 or stations 5 and 7, not all at once. 1
ED Team Lord Vader Posted January 15, 2024 ED Team Posted January 15, 2024 Hi @[31st] Spider Like @Hive said, this is correct behaviour, if loading a weapon on the very center pylon, you cannot load any on the pylons beside it and vice-versa. This reflects real life operation. 1 Esquadra 701 - DCS Portugal - Discord
Nialfb Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 (edited) I have an issue with incorrect loadouts. The loadout in the mission editor corresponds with the loadout on the aircraft in the mission but the loadout does not correspond in the DSMS - some weapons are not loaded and some weapons are listed that are not on the original loadout - the CBU-105 for instance! I had a CBU-105 loaded previously in the mission but I have changed the loadout since. Any ideas? In the past, similar folders caused this kind of problem. The mission file "A-10C JTAC Mission - Sochi-Adler.miz" is just a Zip archive that can be opened with any zip tool (WinZip, 7-zip, Windows Explorer). When you open the Zip file, delete the Avionics folder from it, and then save it, does the issue go away? In the past, using "Prepare Mission" from the mission editor created such undesired folders, but there were cases where users didn't use "Prepare Mission" and still ended up with them. 1
Nialfb Posted June 27, 2024 Posted June 27, 2024 (edited) Thanks Yurgon, I deleted the folder and everything is working fine. It was a bit odd before because every time I started a mission with the plane cold and dark, the radios were already turned on, and a few other unexplained things. As if it remembered the last state from previously flying the mission. Presumably the "Avionics" folder is a run time folder and it should be deleted automatically when the mission is closed? Anyway, thanks again.
