Have you tried saved view positions in the keybindings . Move your head position and save it . {save custom view} .

Hi piolin23000,

Search the forums for threads relating to editing a text file that changes how (where on the screen) certain things are displayed.  I can't remember where I saw it sorry, but someone found a file you can edit, to shift things around for people with your issue.

Good luck.

These seem to work, but at least some elements of the IHADSS do not move with the rest. Eg. cueing dots don't follow when adjusting. I'll test later some more see if I can find some other elements not adjusting properly.

Adjusting the IHADSS works as a solution for a problem I had with screen burn-in (or lcd retention) with Varjo Aero headset, it might be a good idea to move the IHADSS location once in a while a few pixels so it won't always stay in the same spot!

Also had the Cueing dots remain where they were.

I logged a formal ticket over this - i have a quest 3 as well. I explained (with screenshots) that the projection of IHADSS is too high up in the view. @BIGNEWY I just saw the news today saying next patch release is ah64 related re fcr etc - any chance of finding out whether this issue has also been resolved ? If not can we confirm its with the devs and they have it on their todo list - cost its blinking annoying !!

This has been a problem for over two years, for me the ihadss position is too high on my old quest 2, reverb g2, and pimax crystal, as well as different operating system, leading me to believe that it just depends on how you wear your headset (based on head shape etc.). In my opinion there needs to be an adjustment for this, as many people have been reporting it forever. But yeah, ED knows about it but just hasn't done anything since they are unable to reproduce.

For me the location of IHADSS has been spot on with Reverb G2, Pimax 5k+ and Varjo Aero. So maybe it's indeed somehow related to how you wear the headset? Anyways it would be nice to be able to move the position.

Well I gave them a very detailed explanation (with in headset screenshots)  pointing out in my field of view and where the center of my eye line was. Also pointing out that in my vision I could see what i believe to be part of the face guard - which it shouldn't be - so it is as though the whole thing is shifted up. I also notice a similar problem with the free uh60 mod with its head up display (although not as bad)  - so i think there is clearly some in build projection code they all using. i have tried fiddling with repositioning the headset without any luck or it becoming very uncomfortable not practical. So it definitely does need fixing. I was hoping (ha) that it might been part of the next ah64d update. Not sure if its open for everyone to read but here's a link to my ticket https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/151979/ I might see if i can follow up on it and see if devs even have it on their radar

Actually @BIGNEWY is it possible to find out - given its clearly affecting a lot of people if the devs have even looked into this yet ?

@BIGNEWY any chance getting some feedback on the above ? I am actually reluctant to buy the apache until i know this is fixed given how annoying it is. Slightly concerned it appears to have been known issue for quite sometime and doesn't appear to have registered on devs radar to fix it ?????

Hi,

sorry I am not seeing the issue personally, using the G2 here and IHADSS is correct for me, I also tried the pimax crystal recently and did not notice any issue there either.
I usually jump in the cockpit, look forward, press numpad 5 to reset centre and I am good to go.

I will ask our quest VR users to test also.
