It would be nice to have a slightly older looking E2 for the Forrestal in the mid 70's. We have the F-4, A-4, A-6, H-3 that all fit well for an early to mid 70's air Group. The E-2 itself was in service but the older version of the plane had four bladed props.

Older E-2 version has "supresed" by the new E-2 some years ago.

Absolutely agree.

The E-2D might just be the most modern aircraft in the sim.  A Charlie variant would be a far better fit for the vast majority of scenarios we can actually play with the modules we currently have.

It would be nice to have to have period correct AI assets for the 1970\80s carrier airwing and battlegroup.
