Unfortunately the problem with the melting power connector is wide spread and not limited to certain brands.

About the angled power connectors - there has indeed been a recall (for a specific brand).

I hope you are good now. But I would place a temperature probe right on it and monitor closely if I were you. Fool me once…..

He’s probably on the phone to them now. Or sending emails with loads of graphs and stats and whatnot .

I know I would too, maybe with less graphs and stats but still.

I’d hope they’d sort it out, it’s a design flaw, not the customers fault.

Not funny when you think what these things cost, it all adds up. Worse thing is being grounded til it’s sorted.

I’m not going to RMA cause the most I’d get would be another Palit and it’s a kinda funny looking card, unless you like sparkles

Plus they don’t even seem to have a US distributor.

Hope you get back in the air ok and look at it this way, you know you’ll have a better card in there now. As well as how not to buy any more sparklers .
