requested Missing AIM-9E, significant variant from early-mid cold war period

Iam sorry but i dont really know where to place this as i cant find any wishlist or generally weapon thread other than this. 
But even then, its quite important to get this missile with upcomming F4E this month and in the future, F-100. 

The sidewinder in question is in fact Aim-9E, for some, it might be unknown missile, it wasnt any stellar weapon like 9L for its time but it was rather decentish upgrade for USAF birds over vietnam over 9B but it never really solved issues of 9B.


Its main upgrades were ability to uncage seeker prior to launch, more advanced cooled seekerhead and more aerodynamic tip. 
Otherwise it was same missile as 9B, same engine, fins,, warhead, G capabilities but should gain a little bit in range due to better aerodynamics over 9B. 

Unlike more modern sidewinders, we actually have quite enough information for basic performance of missile exept its range as i cant find any info on that as of now (will try to). There would be additional possibility of getting said missile with SR116 reduced smoke engine which 9P2/3/4/5 uses. 


With upcomming USAF cold war modules, it would be really nice to get this early sidewinder for them.

On a somewhat related note, has the AIM-9J (though the AIM-9E is also applicable) been requested for the F-5E? In that case the missile already exists, but isn't available to an aircraft that should have it.

Hello, may i ask how it looks like with 9E? I noticed its in files already with its own numbers, its also in encyclopedia but it still uses 9J model. 
Then i would like to ask if there is 9D or G planned, both are really important Aim-9 version historically and for certain planes and could be carried on F-4E and F-14. Two very popular modules. There is a lot of documentation for both, especially D so docs shouldnt be an issue.

@Маэстро Sorry for ping but may i ask if 9E in game is finished product or waiting to be finished? LUA is in, its in encyclopedia just with wrong (9J) model and can be launched if LUAad on plane. Can this missile be already used by 3rd parties or do they have to wait for full implementation?

9e is fully operational, just has no poper model because it's not ready yet.

Thank you for clarification. I suppose that also means 3rd parties cant implement it yet and have to wait for full model?
