Nealius Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 (edited) Wondering if any of the staff or content creators or testers fly the Phantom on a TM Warthog with the afterburner detent, and could share their curve settings to align the Spook's detent with the Warthog detent. Edited May 21, 2024 by Nealius
Specter Posted May 22, 2024 Posted May 22, 2024 This is mine for the TM Warthog 1 i7-10700K @ 5Ghz | Asus Z490 Tuf Pro Gaming | RTX 3090 | 64 Gb RAM @3.6Ghz | 1TB Samsung 970 EVO+ SSD | 1TB addlink S70 M.2 SSD | 1TB Samsung 850 EVO | 4TB HDD | Reverb G2 | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS | Thrustmaster TPR rudder pedals | Thrustmaster Cougar MFDs
savatee Posted May 22, 2024 Posted May 22, 2024 Curvature 25 Deadzone 10 X&Y 100 is what I use and it works fine. 1
Fuggzy Posted May 22, 2024 Posted May 22, 2024 You don't have to use a curve on it. Look in the SPECIAL tab config page for the F4, there is a slider to set the AB detent position. For my Warthog, a setting of 74 is on the money. 4 2 System: Core i9 10980XE @ 4.00GHz -- MB: X299 UD4 Pro -- 32GB RAM -- RTX4070ti -- 1TB Intel NVMe x2 -- Win10 pro

My left throttle doesn't match my right--I suspect the physical detent is worn down on the left side--so I need curves for each side independently. Thanks guys. That gets me in the ballpark to fine-tune my messed up left detent.
Tiger-II Posted May 23, 2024 Posted May 23, 2024 I set the AB at 90 and deadzone to 3. WH throttle here. Works great! Motorola 68000 | 1 Mb | Debug port "When performing a forced landing, fly the aircraft as far into the crash as possible." - Bob Hoover. The JF-17 is not better than the F-16; it's different. It's how you fly that counts. "An average aircraft with a skilled pilot, will out-perform the superior aircraft with an average pilot."

Unless the detent is noticeably worn I would not suspect wear as the issue.

I got mine second hand years ago, at the detent position the left throttle advanced ever so slightly more than the right one. I think it's something to do with the lever arm design. Calibration won't help because it's really a mater of the levers not matching on that position (they do in the OFF, IDDLE and Full FWD position)
