He is probably using xpforce payware or freeware airforceplayer ffb.

I believed both have been abandoned no longer support. I think xpforce still avaiable for purchase $10

Think firmware is now at 1.1.1.21 as a possible reason why it now supports MSFS.

Mine arrived yesterday (Sept 12th). I ordered on August 16th. Having some issues getting it to work in DCS, game keeps crashing.

Do we need a MOZA tab for this stick?

WoW I really think they forgot about the ones who placed the original orders. Make sure you down load the latest firmware and software.

Not necessarily, shipping can also differ by region, depending on when the ships deliver product to the regional warehouses.

I wouldn't say so for now, as long as the discussion is mostly limited to one topic. But later on it is probably a good idea. Certainly once they have a bigger portfolio of flight gear.

I don't think he needs a Moza Stick to be honest.  He needs to update Firmware and software first.

Software and Firmware already updated. After trying a few different USB ports it is working but no FFB and Trimming has no effect even though I tried remapping the buttons and switching it to Buttons instead of D PAD in the MOZA software. Anyone have a similar experience? Thoughts on fixes?

I also have no FFB with mine. Tried using direct input and telemetry mode. Launching DCS from the Moza software. Must be missing something obvious.

Well, I noticed that the Moza software deployed it's telemetry files to a "DCS" folder instead of my open beta install folder. I moved the files, as well as the line from the export.lua file to the proper folders, but no dice. I suspect the software is looking for everything in the wrong folder still and will not work. I converted my install folders to the unified version of the game, now that there aren't two seperate branches anyways. I deleted the Moza stuff from the scripts folder, set the install patch again so it would redeploy the files.

 

FFB still does not work.

OK, I made sure to remove "open beta" from my main DCS folder name and then I manually copied the scripts from the Moza Cockpit install folder to the scripts folder (even though the Moza software was deploying these files anyways) and it seems to kinda work now. The only helo I feel anything with is the Apache, don't feel anything with the Mi8, Hind, or Huey.  With the P-51 using the P-51 preset in the Moza software, I don't feel anything at all. When I change to telemetry, I feel the guns and landing gear but no aerodynamic effects at all. The A-10C and spitfire work.

Make sure to enable FFB in the DCS settings under the "Misc" tab, never having FFB before, I didn't realize that was there.

So how about testing with DCS warbirds? The most interesting from my point of view is the I-16 as it is the most primitive of the DCS group and very tricky to land smoothly and dogfight in.

Not really. Why would you need more force? I am scared to pull it harder in case my stick brakes.

So far underwhelming with the warbirds IMO. More testing and tweaking is needed. I do not have the I-16.

Yeah, it has plenty of force IMO, even with a 20cm extension. More than I was expecting. I'm also worried I'm going to break the stem on my TMWH grip, the cheap pot metal is known to break.

So you have the base in the middle low to the ground where it belongs, can you share a photo?
