My FC3 modules didn't work last night after installing the patch - now they worked with no issues.

Did you do anything to get it to work?  None of mine work yet...  Complete silence from ED on this issue isn't very helpful either.

+1 ?   Just another user whose game no longer works like it did before the patch, same as the others. No FC3 aircraft and game keeps wanting me to download and install it, which does no good.

Full sequence of actions, but I don't think they made a difference:

- Installed patch last night, ran it, and modules were disabled as per the problem we all know.

- This morning, ran the launcher again, same issue with 5 files showing as available, but nothing in the list.

- Ran a cleanup (deleted all but screenshots) and a repair (I don't think this had any effect, listed only for completeness)

- Ran DCS, no warning on launch, all FC3 modules available, flew the F15C without issue (except control bindings were gone?!)

- On exiting the mission editor, the module managed in DCS showed FC3 as available - 'installed' it, but nothing was downloaded, only file integrity verified.

- Flew the Su25, again no issue (control bindings all there, no problems)

tl;dr - I did a cleanup and repair via the launcher, really don't think that was the issue.

Okay...I removed/deleted all the Flaming Cliffs 3 aircraft in the launcher, started DCS to ensure they weren't available and then reinstalled them, again using the launcher. Now all my FC3 aircraft are working again without issue.

In game I also had a 'DCS Flaming Cliffs 3' module to install which seems to have no effect.

I hope this get resolved soon..  Apparently ED may had assumed that everyone will upgrade.  I had this problem before and eventually upgrade to FC2024.  The problem gone and all is fine now with the authorization.  I also find this upgrade is also better that now every single FC3 aircraft had their own wallpaper.

Here is my analysis:

1. ED had somehow converted client side FC3 planes from single license (bundle) to 6 different licenses with the recent patch.  This can be seen from a tool called "DCS updater by Skatezilla" that license of FC3 is now gone in client side, replaced by 6 different licenses.

2. When user login, the authentication server now see that client has 6 licenses and fail to authorize, as server side recognized only FC3 purchased.  This is a mismatch that causes the problem.  In my case, I had error for 5 licenses while I got Su27 purchased separately and I can still use it.  Those who own SC also granted Su33. they can still use it.

3. FC2024 license purchase seems change/add server side authentication for a user to be granted to have 9 licenses, that is why I now see 9 wallpaper for my planes.  This server side change now matches the 6 client side FC3 planes so that it passes authentication.  Hence if someone upgrade, this resolve the issues for all 9 FC planes.

I think this could be server side problem that ED shall getting fixed.  I might be wrong, but that is what I learn so far....  Again hopefully this get fixed soon.

Launched now and I´ve got functional FC3 planes. They are present as "independent modules": A10A, Su-25, MiG-29...etc

No "Authorization warning" when launched DCS.

Same problem here. I cannot even install the module Flaming Cliffs. It is available to install in the module manager, but when selected nothing installs.

Tried above steps that worked for some people without any success on my end. From new launcher itself I don't even get the option to re-install FC3.

bought FC3 modules separately and have no issue accessing them. this seems only for the people who bought flaming cliffs as a package prior to latest update

I gave up with FC3, and just bought the FC 2024 upgrade for $10. So far, it is all good, have not had a chance to go through the stable, wil take a long time.

Same here, even if I purchased FC3 as well. It wants to install inside DCS, and the launcher says I have five modules to install, while it doesn't show me which.
So, basically the fix is to uninstall FC3, and install the individual FC3 modules in the launcher?
The funny thing IMHO, is that how it always should have been.

I had originally bought FC3 many years ago on Steam and transfered the license over to standalone shortly after.

Turns out with the latest patch I had to re-transfer again/a couple of extra licenses showed up. Issue seems to be solved for now.

Old missions don't work, but you can still fly if you make new mission wiht old FC3 modules. New ones don't show up.

Same here. Did full removal of the modules and reinstalled via ingame module manager (not the launcher) and still same Auth errors. Fellow squad member got around this by purchasing FC2024. So, in a nutshell, if you need FC3 planes immediately you are forced to get FC2024 until ED fixes the issue.

That's a good business strategy!
