There has been a problem with ALL kind of FARPs from a few last patches. Even though they are marked as invisible, they are visible on the F10 map and even with the names of the objects, which means that they either cover other map elements or overlap with other icons.

Request for the FIX. Thank you.

Hi, any chances to solve it (back as it was, so no name on F10 map)?

It could be an issue for Mission Editor corner.

@Flappie is there any chance of reporting this? This is clearly a bug that didn't work before, one of the updates caused the names of objects like FARP to be visible on the F10 map, even if it is marked as invisible. It wasn't like that before 😞. Any chences?

Farps are airbases and have always been visible on the F10 map. "Invisible" is the model, not the map access. It would be a new thing to introduce map visibility, there's a reasonable gameplay benefit for "team versus team" play in multiplayer, and to a very small extent, some single player play also, where the AI setup something hidden. Ships would be an example of an airbase that is "hidden". I've used that, it was fun. Since we only just got spawning farps and we still dont have dynamic cargo or dynamic spawn settings, we can rule out single player benefits for now. The effort to write an AI that calculates a good place for a farp to be built, is prohibitive, they can even find flat ground yet.

Ok, I understand, maybe in this particular case FARP, despite being marked In invisible, works differently than with other objects and FARP is visible on the F10 map.

In that case, however, I would like to draw attention to another thing, is there a chance that the name of the object will not be displayed here? Because the name displayed on the F10 map example SINGLE_FARP_01 looks really strange. Maybe a name entered by the player as the FARP name would be better, or at least a code name selected from the drop-down menu (e.g. Perth). That's how it used to be, I think.
