Last working version

Hi Folks,

is it possible to go back to the last version of DCS?

I only fly solo and not over the net.  The last version was fine for me because the Eurofighter works.  I'm not interested in updates at the moment.

Advice would be appreciated.

If you're not using Steam version but standalone one, you can rervert to one of previous versions, following guide posted here:

Note, second post in that linked thread contains a table with previous version numbers you will need:

Any chance of someone giving me the correct syntax and where to launch the command from please?

This one was correct but since the DCS_updater.exe is in the \bin folder you have to run from there.

Keep in mind, however, ED stores only a handful of older builds on their servers, dating back a few months at best. If you want to go aaaaall the way back to 2.8.xx, it most likely won't be available anymore. You can try, though.

I have 2 versions of DCS on my system now.  2.9 and an older version for the Eurofighter.   Now I'm trying to find the last version of the Eurofighter.   Does anyone have the zip file for Eurofighter Typhoon by Lechuzas Negras v1.0.72 please?

These links are no good mate.  They are all dead.  I'm trying to find people using the Eurofighter mod of 1.0.7 or later that can zip up the file and make it available here please.

roger. you have two choices. one is to install a mod manager for the latest version of DCS and try the old mod.

the other choice is to wait until the official module arrives. i have no idea how long until. rumored for 2026.

The EF mods don't work on the latest version of DCS.  I run 2 versions an old one for the EF and the latest for everything else.  That's why I'm trying to find a player that is using V 1.0.7.

Yes, the original Modders have stopped working on it...but there must be other EF fans with the mod.  I need one of them to share their mod.
