I have a bug with GBU-24 on center point and sometimes GBU-12 on CFT. When I drop them the bombs hits the aircraft causing landing gear failure. I drop them in level flight betwen mach 0.8 and 0.9. Do you have the same problem?

the gbu-24 lofts. you're supposed to turn away immediately after release.

shouldn't happen with gbu-12 as they dont loft. make sure that you're not pulling negative Gs.

Also make sure you're giving bombs more time in ripple setting so they don't hit each other. Post a short track if it's still happening.

It happen only one time with GBU-12 with a 1STA program setting. For the GBU-24 I don't have the problem when I drop them from the wings hardpoints or the CFT, it's only when I drop them from the central point. I don't have time to turn away after the release and they hit the airframe. Always dropped on level flight, no negative G's.

I still have the problem with GBU12 on CFT hitting the airframe when they are dropped. Usually the third one hit the airfame resulting a landing gear failure and crash landing on RTB. Can someone do a test with 8 GBU12 loadout?

The file is to big to be upload it's a multiplayer flight on Blue Flag server.

re-create it in a single player mission

we cant help you unless you provide a track file. i tested it yesterday and it was fine. single dropping and even dropping all 8 at once

@Midair Let us know if you need a simple mission scenario with air start and load out of 8 GBU-12s if you don't know how to do it yourself.

I've seen this happen in real life.  Took out a horizontal stab and rudder.

I guess the release was also out of safe parameters?

Pickled and pulled at the same time.

What is the limit here? I thought some pulling was safe during drops.

I'm not sure.  The jet was 87-0174 w/BDU-50's.

Release physics are a bit bugged. Even with 2x GBU-12 on a CFT the bomb can be seen clipping through the fuselage as it releases laterally instead of straight down. Probably affected by winds aloft. Loaded on the forward CFT stations it doesn't cause damage, but you can see the odd release behavior.
