After today's update, no matter what option is selected, the new spotting dots are always on. I play with an older Quest 2, so this makes missions look awful, with giant black squares littering the screen. TIA

Same, the selector doesn't work and trying to manually force it off via autoexec doesn't work either.

I can confirm this bug. Clicking OK after switching from ON to OFF, restarting DCS, restarting PC or anything else can not disable the "Improved Spotting Dots" which look horrible in VR. 😞

Same. I have a Crystal headset, so I can see fine without the dots. Having them on really ruins the emersion for me.

The setting works for some monitor users. Why do you makes us suffer for using VR? Black squares for targets look horrible and are unrealistic!

Yeah it doesn’t make sense that monitor users can switch them off but VR cannot.

The Improved spotting dots is the worse idea ever for DCS!

Agree. I can’t fathom how anyone figured this was a good idea.
The whole concept makes no sense because as far as I see they’re identical in appearance to dot labels.
I dare anyone to tell me the difference here 😆🤯
