DCS crashing on multiplayer when pressing f10 map after newest update

My friends and I have been crashing non stop when playing DCS multiplayer. Apparently, pressing f10 to look at the map causes the crash. Is anyone also having this issue after the newest update

The same. The fix should be immediate. I don't understand how an update can be released with this bug. No one is testing this?

for me this reduced the error
by increasing the disk cache

and deleting the TEMP folder

C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS.openbeta

I've noticed with other players that it happens more when you have 16gb of ram

UP:

it's still giving me an error, I'm trying to find something that can minimize this error

confirmed. for history sake, this is only the third time since 4/2021 that my DCS has crashed. i looked at my log and found nothing that could have caused the crash. i am going to try other AC.

Enclosed mission runs without problems on pre Sept 30 DCS.

After the patch, mission crashes when pressing F-10

I'm suspecting a causal link with the spawned static objects.

For reproduction, run mission, press F-10, boom.

so i replaced su25 with f16 in the mission. f10 crashed. i tried another mission created 9/7/2024 by @=617= Evil

   - Air to Air Guns

splash 4 bandits and no crash pressing f10.

Turning off DLSS seemed to fix it for me.

Edit - wanted to clarify that this wasn't a robust test. Logged into my pretense server, hit F10 after spawning, DCS crashed, turned off DLSS, logged into my server again, hit F10, no crash, flew a mission for 30 minutes with repeated F10 with no crash. I might have just gotten lucky for a half hour.

My current thinking is that since some mission script (the stopGap script) creates static objects at mission start, this can lead to a full CTD crash when you call up F-10 map later on, perhaps because the static objects aren't yet fully initialized or incorrectly initialized when they happen during mission startup. @Flappie - may I request your kind expertise on this?

I have DLSS permanently disabled all time and the game still crashes in MP

i did notice the script message at the beginning of your miz. no scripts in the other mission i tried afterwards. as you mentioned, it seems plausible that the script was somehow involved in the crash.
