True, however a quick glance at the market place will reveal products around the same price point offering multiple airframes and global destinations. As I have said before, DCS has somewhat of a monopoly at the moment which allows them to dictate pricing. Having said that we all have a choice - purchase or don't purchase, no one forces our hand...

Although, we are not sure what currency was 70 about. It could be current pre-order price for Iraq if we talk AUD for example. ASW
In Russia, $70 is a bit expensive, given the average monthly salary of $350. But we buy it anyway. Once every three months, you can afford it. In the USA or Europe, it's enough to go to McDonald's twice, but many players complain that it's expensive for them.) In the game War Thunder, one plane costs about $ 30. Not a single button is pressed in it and it flies a little strangely.)

Indeed, but these conversations are very interesting to people that have a lot of money invested and are worried of a price tag that keeps increasing for a final product that is ever delayed and end up being sold through discounts in an unfinished state under the excuse that dev teams are small or that the development is so complex that it takes over a decade to fix the artificial horizon on warbirds, just to take an example. I am personally not satisfied with the price tag vs quality of DCS maps, technology allows for much better results now a days. I do however agree that DCS is a compromise of many things for it to work, I therefore hope for the dev team to find ways to offer a spherical earth largely based on AI work to reduce cost while at the same time keeping the current trend of expensive and detailed maps (which they are currently not) for those that can afford it. I will personally not buy more maps until such affordable and global offer is provided if ever, I will however concentrate my investments on released and test proven modules that have earned unanimously the customers base satisfaction award on both quality and product support. Thanks, Most people understand what early access is and know it will take time, if that is not something you like then for sure waiting is the best thing to do. Early access is optional and your satisfaction is important. Thank you 2 Forum rules - DCS Crashing? McDonald's is expensive and people get fat and poisoned to death. It was on the US news yesterday. Sorry bad english.

Yes, but to be fair they could be making 100, if not 1000 sales for every one that ED does. That’s the price we pay (excuse the pun) for a niche product. It’s not just a price tag at the store. There’s a cost involved to produce, and if there’s less people to share that cost, we pay more for less. Obviously as a consumer, if you can spend the same and get more that you’re satisfied with, then get that, but if you want a niche product then consideration needs to be made for the smaller market size.
