So far so good nothing catastrophic, some keybinds need to be remaped and the only issue if this helps is the keybinds for Radio Control Channel UP DOWN, for me only UP works ( if you click on the collective everything works ), and Radio Channel Control LEFT - Keyboard, doesnt work when mapped, (again clicking on the collective works)

I've only fired flares from it so far, they sound meaty enough. Sounds like a chopper flying about now, great job, even if it's not finished.

No worries about the hiccup. Bindings are a bit knackered but not a lotta bother.

Kiowa sounds in general wasn't all that bad to my ears, but there is a risk of that .50 to sound like one of them cheap keyboards with a sound effect bank; Laughter, burps, thunder,  tadaa's, applause and machine guns.
It can easily sound like that. Sampled and stored. With a weird ambience to it.  Aaand it somewhat still does.
But then again; NOT complete or finished.
But it is worth keeping an ear out for that when seeking to improve..

I see differences and some of them are positive - sounds and I like the new sound of the rotor under load, but I also feel that not all sounds are there (starter, few clicks), and some are unfortunately quieter. I fly with the doors open and I have the impression that the new ones are quieter than the old ones. I also lost some keys, many things have to be remapped. Currently I also have CTD every time ☺️  when I use unguided Hydra 70 M151 rockets. Can you check this too?

However, after 2 hours of flying - yes, the sounds are very nice, in my opinion they should be 15-20% louder, but overall it is a very nice change.

Currently, Kiowa also needs to be flown more carefully, a few bullets and my engine was completely destroyed. I had to land on autorotation. DM appeared and now you need to be more careful because you can quickly get surprised.

There was also some drift after hovering, cool option, thanks!

Think we may have to wait til we can bind things properly?

I couldn’t get my trimmer to work properly for love nor money. Went looking for those videos from Casmo for refresher courses on how to use it, or them I should say given the different ways it can be set up.. I tried changing the options in settings, each of them looked to do as they should going by the controls indicator but the stick wasn’t taking any notice. Maybe it was sulking in mine as someone else flying their Kiowa said their trimmer was fine.

I’ve well and truly buggered up my bindings now as I kept messing about with a few before reading there’d been a mistake with them. They’ll get sorted and I flew it despite my fumblings. Some just don’t wanna be tied down for now I think?

Sounds much better already from outside it. I always have a flyby view mapped on stuff for a bit of eye and ear candy. Pleasure flying at least. I like to fly with doors off too. Regularly leave the lids open in me props too, blows the cobwebs off.

Have to feel for the team a bit as some of the surprises aren’t ready yet. I don’t think it’s gonna take the shine off em when they are ready, it’s looking good so far.

More than could be said for my dodgy flying in it.

You have to bind the keys/buttons/axes again, for me I loose 50% my buttons but I rebind it again. So far so good.

I cleared them and reloaded each profile from a backup of my inputs. It looked ok but I dunno what’s going on with my trimmer, gave up trying to use it in the end and flew without ‘carefully’ 😄.

I’ll be back for more later to have another look at it. Always something to fiddle with.

This update was truly a lucky accident/blessing in disguise or whatever it is called in english.
I would not have waited longer for that MMS fix. What a relief!
-Love is restored!
(Revisiting those key binds actually made me make a few better decisions)

I always use the "autostart" feature (due to time constraints) using the traditional left windows + home keybind (which it's currently bound).. for some reason I have hold those keys down throughout the entire sequence to begin startup.

Even if I bound to something else, it requires hold that button/toggle/key down to complete the sequence. 

Then, 1 out of 3 times after releasing [bind].. it began the shutdown procedure.

I apologize if I've missed an update to the feature or if it's a known bug..

Just wondering if it's user error or something else.

Pre-trim for takeoff has become a "puckering" experience as well, but forces me to use full control on takeoff... trimming after is no issue. But I'm a hot mess during that transition lol

Happy the radio bindings are fixed. I never had an issue with my binding for REC/ACK, however.
