Is anyone else having issues with blacking out instantly while pulling G's? Other platforms like the F-16 have my screen gradually go grey and close in as you I get closer to blacking out but the tomcat only goes slightly grey and then I instantly blackout. I've died to G-loc more now than the enemy. I think we need some more indications your about to black out before it happens.

First time in the plane?
How many g-s did you pull? Did you perform any g-warm before pulling them?
Just ran all the BFM instant actions in DCS for the F-14, managed to pull up to 10g on a few (just for the kicks of it), managed to rip my left wing of by rolling to adjust my aim on a jinking F-15 (because i suck, or they changed something about structural stress since last year) while pulling 9 or so g's, but i never blacked out. Came close to really deep grey-out on a downward spiral once, but that was the worst i did.

Not the first time in the plane, I've had it sense release day. The issue I'm having is after the new G effect ED added, you get almost no warning before G-loc. my screens only goes slightly grey before I black out now. No close in or any other effects making it very difficult to tell when I'm pulling to many Gs. When I'm in a dogfight I'm not looking at my G meter so this lack of effect makes its difficult in a turn fight to avoid G-loc.

Strange. Maybe it's a MP related issue? Has this happened in SP as well? I couldn't reproduce it. I can send you tacview tracks if you wish. 9-10 g and no blackout.

We need facts. How many Gs? What speed? It's easy to jink at high speed and end up GLOC or without wings since no aircraft system will stop you. IRL there's at least significant pull force on the stick needed.

The issue isn’t that I black out. It’s that I black out with no warning. Ever since the update where ED changed the G effects I’ve had this issues. I’ll be in a constant pull to track a bandit I just merged with and then just black out with very little indication I was pulling to many Gs.

It means you were fast and pulled too fast too much - there'll be no warning for that. Otherwise show track or video.

I find FFB really helps to avoid this.

I can confirm the Tomcat's animation for the GLOC is broken. I thought it was just the way the new DCS GLOC effect worked but then I tried it in the F16.  The Viper still has tunnel vision and a much more gradual visual indicator that its happening.

The Tomcat goes grey slowly and then instantly blacks out no tunnel vision.

Its definitely not consistent with the way other aircraft experience it anymore.

Just had this happen as well, vision turned grey, but as I was decreasing angle and almost levelling out, BANG! black

Are you really blacking out? I'm asking because recently I had Issues with my Monitors falling asleep in the middle of the game and because of this, the screen goes black (this is great fun when you are at the turn in behind the boat...). Never had that before. And I first thought about a blackout bug, but it is something on my machine.

I now went back to an older nVidia driver maybe this can solve it.

I only fool around the F-14 - and still having a hard time on it as there is so much to learn and so little time and talent. But I love it.

I think it’s because you "need to warm up." After you've completed a couple of maneuvers, the blackout effect is almost always present; however, if you are not "warmed up," the blackout effect can be sudden. What I find problematic is that the warm-up must be done by pulling G's to one side and then to the opposite side, as if the body can differentiate which side you’re pulling G's, which it cannot. This makes it very difficult to warm up when you’re only pulling G's in one direction during the first maneuver. It doesn’t make sense. It’s as if the human centrifuge machines used for pilot training needed to rotate to one side and then to the other.
