Since a few weeks spammers are back posting a bulk of messages, clogging up the forum.
If one goes through the forum manually it's mostly only one post per forum/subforum and can be easely ignored.
However, if the "unread content" option is used, the entire bulk of spam messages shows up, message after message in the unread content list.
This happens also when I add the spam poster to my ignore list.
Members that are put in the ignore list should not show up in the unread content list adding an extra filter to all the spam messages they post.

In addition, could we also have a filter added that auto-deletes any post with Temu in the title

I started answering sarcastically to one of em but you’d never keep up with it.

Complete PITA at times and I often hit the activity jobby. Chop em out.

I think they set the filter on "Auto Repeat" not "Auto Delete"

Those spam attacks always follow the same pattern. Is there any way for moderators to filter or hold back those posts or users?

Maybe by reducing the amount of allowed posts per hour for new users?

Where is the AI when you need it? 😉

Could those spam posts be identified automatically by comparing their content which is 99% the same but not 100%?

The spammers get dealt with as soon as a moderator is active, it is normally myself or Nineline who deals with them, I cover EU time zone and Nineline covers US time zone.

Once we action a report and mark them as spammers all of the posts get deleted. So please keep the reports up if you are making them.

thank you
