Jel Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 (edited) I wondered if this is intentional: (Nose over foul line, deck status shows "clear") Edited December 14, 2024 by Jel 1 When in doubt - climb. Nealius Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 Not valid for Hornets that's for sure. SH-60s are supposed to go there. 1
draconus Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 Even worse if Tomcats park there. Definitely not correct. 1 Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria
Jel Posted December 16, 2024 Author Posted December 16, 2024 (edited) Did ED test their new deck crew feature with the T45 ? Or how come such "obvious" things make it into release ? Saltmode aside, the issue is not just the parking itself but also the taxi INTO this position. AI and players alike, do have to taxi over the line, deck status "foul", which is often ignored by landing AI aircraft, causing collisions. Edited December 16, 2024 by Jel When in doubt - climb. Nealius Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 To draconus' point about the Tomcats, nose way over the foul line. Furthermore, the system ignores static objects that the manual explicitly states should be taken into account by the taxi route and parking slot logic. It also incorrectly judges the Tomcat's width, as if I remove the S-3 from Elev. 2 I would have been directed to park there instead. 2
