My F-4 is activated at this moment. No issues.

1-Make an exception on the whole DCS root folder on your anti virus(es), including windows defender. Authorization files are being wrongly flagged as threats for a good while. (issue not exclusive to DCS).

2-verify/repair DCS (fast method).

During updating DCS windows defender flagged this file:

I guess its a false posetiv again? Someone else got this file flagged?

Can someone confirm the file hashes? (DCS\bin\inter.dll) ->

EDIT: It seems like my windows defender wasnt up-to-date. After updating this file no longer gets blocked. So if you get this file marked as well update Windows Defender!

guten tag. am besten wäre es, im Defender Ausnahmen hinzuzufügen. Bei jedem Patch werden bestimmte Dateien aktualisiert und können aufgrund von Änderungen an der Datei blockiert werden. tschuss

I deleted the dcs_manifest.bin as specified in the DCS Authorization errors web page and ran another repair with the same error. When I look at C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\_downloads\Mods/aircraft/F-4E/bin there is no HeatblurJester.dll file there and when I look at C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods/aircraft/F-4E/bin there is again no HeatblurJester.dll.

I don't understand how a nonexistent file is being flagged as virus.

Please help!

It’s probably non-existent as your anti-virus software has probably quarantined it (or deleted). Have you added the entire DCS installation folder to your anti-virus software as an exclusion? What anti-virus software are you using?

What anti-virus software do you use?

Have you added the entire DCS installation folder as an exclusion to it, restarted your PC, and run a slow repair of the game?

Windows Defender Firewall and yes, EVERYTHING DCS is checked as allowed to pass.

I think you're right that the dll has been deleted or quarantined since I can't find it anywhere in the files. Why is a repair or reinstallation of the F-4E not resurrecting that dll file?

Try reinstalling the module, maybe the problem is solved then.

I had this exact same issue, but putting the root DCS folder and the DCS folders in the USERS/SAVEDGAMES folder as a Windows Security exception, then running the fast repair and rebooting, seems to have fixed it

Kit: i9 10900k, Rog Strix RTX 4090, Asus Rog strix Z490 Mobo, 64 GB, Varjo Aero HMD running Open VR

Thrustmaster Warthog Hotas, Thrustmaster Pendular rudder peddles

MODS: Pretty much all of them

Windows Defender, not Windows Defender Firewall as this has nothing to do with your firewall. Send a screenshot of your Windows Defender that shows the DCS installation folder as one of your excluded folders.

I think I found a solution. I just put in excluded folders- file DCS World\CoreMods\aircraft\F-4E\. The installation of Phantom was successful and the game started without a problem.

Yeah ,that's great for those that know their way around these systems. For those of us that don't , not so great.

Such a „solution“ is the same as closing a police station inside a city district…..

surely you mean an incompetent police station, after all they are wrongly accusing innocent files of being virus infected.
