MiG-29 is already coming and Su-27 is first on the list of popularity for the next FF Redfor jet while MiG-27... I'm not sure it'll hit TOP 10.

Oh, Mig-27 (or Su-17/22 as a more likely alternative, Su-24 if we're lucky) would be an excellent addition to DCS, first fixed wing Eastern aircraft module that can deploy guided weapons like TV guided missiles, laser guided missiles, anti-radiation missiles, even a missile with 20 nm of range and TV guidance via datalink pod. It also fits the 70's-80's timeframe where DCS IMHO has the most potential (older stuff seems less popular, with modern it's understandably difficult to make a comprehensive environment).

I'm sure a lot of people would also appreciate the whole "supersonic A10" aspect of Mig-27 with its 30mm Gatling gun

Su-20 and Mig-27 had similar weapon options, but obviously Su-24 is more capable, also had 80's INS guided cruise missiles, but without GPS nav, would add something new to current roster.

I would love to see a full fidelity SU-25 A model. I really like the simplicity of an attack aircraft without computer screens,  ,it is also more lightweight as an airframe.

Yeah this plane was my "first time" in DCS 😁 I will always have love for her and it is a super easy plane to learn like the F-5E is.

why is it marked as solution?

Because it settles the argument that we all have different taste and expectations. And it also settles the fact we all love this bird.

It's most known as variable-sweep wing.
