Hold should work. Have you perhaps added a stop-condition to the hold waypoint? Can you upload your mission/vehicles?
razo+r Posted February 6 Posted February 6 I'm uploading a small demonstration. The vehicles drives ahead to WPT 1 and holds there for 10 seconds before continues to WPT 2. Hold Demonstration.miz
ex81 Posted February 6 Author Posted February 6 Your .miz works well. I upload mine, but it is a long one. The truck should stop at WP 7 and embark the infantry again. If you can spend the time, give it atry. Thank you EASY-emb.miz What goes up, must come down ! Perhaps @NineLine or @Flappie could take a closer look as to what is happening?
Flappie Posted February 9 Posted February 9 (edited) I did this test: Ask a new truck to hold until time T: it waits. Ask the troops truck to hold until time T: it won't wait. It looks like the Hold command does not work with units which have Embark or Disembark tasks. I'll test some more then report. Edited February 9 by Flappie ---
Solution Flappie Posted February 9 Solution Posted February 9 (edited) If found a way. I redid the mission and it worked: I removed all "Hold" commands (because they don't seem to work along with "Embarking"). I set the second "Embark" with a "ON LAND" waiting time of 5 minutes. But if I do the same things to your mission file, it doesn't work. There must be an explanation... I couldn't have the infantry group stop after the last disembarking. EASY-emb_fix.miz Edited February 10 by Flappie "ON LAND", not "FROM LAND" ---

I also tried various ways and came to about the same conclusions as you. @ex81 Looks like something weird was in your mission together with embarking and hold interfering each other...
ex81 Posted February 10 Author Posted February 10 Thank you all for your participation. Got it work by sending them a new Truck. Will keep on investigating. 1 What goes up, must come down !
