I'll admit I had never heard of it outside of this thread. It's universal like a Huey. Although it started development and some production during end of the Cold War, most of its life it's NATO helicopter and spread worldwide, not a WarPac. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PZL_W-3_Sokół#Operators 1 Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 MiG-29A F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria

It would also avoid the whole float/water landing problem. The CH-3 retained the water landing capabilities of the Sea King and, funnily enough, was more stable than the Sea King on the water due to the larger sponsons located further aft on the fuselage. I wouldn't say no to a CH-3E Jolly Green either, but I also don't expect ED to make one due to its relative obscurity and correspondingly perceived lower potential earnings from a CH-3 module. Edited Friday at 03:40 PM by Vampyre 1 Truly superior pilots are those that use their superior judgment to avoid those situations where they might have to use their superior skills. If you ever find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck! "If at first you don't succeed, Carrier Landings are not for you!"

Ah, yes, that's true. I guess I made that mistake seeing how the Jolly Green Giant wasn't exactly known for doing much of that. But the coast guard Pelican is indeed the same fuselage. While I do like the Giant, I would agree that a 'proper' boat hull Sea King would be nicer to have. Not quite believing in it, though. 1
MAXsenna Posted Friday at 06:17 PM Posted Friday at 06:17 PM We definitely need the JollyG in Nam.I'd like both please! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
BishopKnight74 Posted Saturday at 05:33 PM Posted Saturday at 05:33 PM (edited) CH-53 and MH-6 are on my list to see come to DCS World. UH-60 and AH-1 are on it too but we know where ED is on these from Wags interviews. Not that we don't have some great helos to fly already. At this point I'm just being a nerd like a Pokemon collector and want to collect them all. It's as bad as my RaceRoom addiction. Edited Saturday at 05:34 PM by BishopKnight74 1
