treeplante Posted March 15 Posted March 15 This is really annoying!!! I have noticed the F-16C's external tanks, both wing and centerline, to not refuel while selecting the new fuel state in the ground service panel. The only way around this is deload the tanks off the aircraft, and reload them back onto the aircraft having to use the ground panel 2 times. Is this a bug or intentional? I personally don't feel the fuel slider should only be connected to the fuel state in the external tanks. Thanks 1

Hopefully this feature will be implemented/fixed at one point like some 3rd parties have done.Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Other workaround include: Jettison the tanks before approach Use the Ground Jettison function to jettison them on the ground Open the Aerial Refueling Door, this should allow you to refuel the external tanks aswell (provided your fuel is low enough or something, I don't remember).

deltatango Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Pretty sure it intentional that you have to open the air refuel door to fill external tanks on the ground. Opening the door depressurises the ext tanks, allowing them to fill. 1 Cheers, DT Junior Member for over 6 years. Difference between Ordinance and Ordnance. My X-52 Pro Profile. ED Team BIGNEWY Posted March 18 ED Team Posted March 18 Hi, this is correct as is for now. You have to remove empty tanks and the add new ones. We have requested empty tanks to be added to the refuel process but no news to share currently. 1 Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Dragon1-1 Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Ideally, we'd have hotpit refueling implemented. IRL, it's possible to literally hook up a hose to the Viper's gashole (same on most USAF aircraft, I think). Basically, "AAR" while on the ground, the switchology is identical. This can be done much quicker than any loadout changes.

Dragon1-1 Posted March 18 Posted March 18 (edited) Isn't the rearm/refuel menu supposed to represent the "normal" kind of refueling? Hotpit refuel should be something else, with flow rates comparable to AAR, the requirement that AAR door be open, basically the exact same mechanics. Edited March 18 by Dragon1-1
