I do apologize for kinda flooding the forum with topics as i already have an existing one where i mentioned DCS freezing for no reason at start up but now finally i have clearly identified what's causing the issue. After trying dozens of different things and playing around with windows settings, it turns out to be the TrackIR software that's causing this mess. Whenever i launch DCS without Trackir running, it just all works normally otherwise it freezes on main menu. Tried uninstalling software and reverting back to 5.4.2 still same happening.

Would be happy to hear any proven solutions for this

Drag and drop your DCS.log here. Try and rename your DCS folder in Saved Games to DCS.old, and see if that helps.
Cheers!

☝️ This, and please ensure you are not running DCS as Administrator. Same thing for your TrackIR software.

@Vnavspeed

Thank you for the log.
1. You might try to disable the Hypervisor
2. Even if you have 64GB of RAM you might try to manually set your swap file to 32768MB
3. Because TrackIR seems to give you grief, double check hot plugin is disabled in the Controls Settings

Cheers!

Advice

If you have stability or performance issues pointing to your GPU, rollback the GPU driver to version 566.36
Verify that this is configured correctly in Windows:
Game Mode disabled
Hardware accelerated GPU scheduling disabled

Tuning Tips

Turn off SSLR.
Consider using DLAA.
Tuning tips are recommendations for better FPS based on your CPU, GPU and RAM.
They might result in slightly decreased display quality.

Thanks all for help

i just tried locking my fps at 120HZ, slightly lowered mouse refresh rate and stopped using "Run as admin" thing for DCS and TrackIR as @Flappie recommended so.

Now all works fine

But one thing i can say that on Main menu DCS sometimes take long to respond but no issues when flying @BIGNEWY

Excellent!

Have you excluded DCS in your Anti-Virus solution? That will help with load times.

Cheers!
