Of all the modules I have, this is the only one I have problems with, and it's like 90% of the time I try to load it.  Didn't have an issue until the last update, but now it crashes DCS to desktop just about every time I try to load a campaign or scenario with it.  Is anyone else having issues with it?

Here's another one from just now, where all I did was boot up DCS and try to load the first mission of the campaign that comes with the F-5E FC

Set your pagefile to a fixed 32768MB one.

Are you login into Windows with the Windows Administrator account? If not, are you running DCS as Administrator? If yes, stop doing that.

And/or, are you using a custom cockpit mod, as DCS complains about IC failure regarding the cockpit, which is kinda strange.

You can also try to reduce the reload radius, as that's exactly when it creates a dump, but changing the pagefile will probably fix this.

Cheers!

Just changed the pagefile from dynamic in the same range to fixed.  I'm logged in to the Admin account in Windows, but not specifically running DCS as administrator.  Custom cockpit mod is for the F-15C, but hasn't given me any problems.  That always loads perfectly.  If the pagefile doesn't work (I'm about to give it a try), I'll definitely tweak the preload radius.  Thanks!

This is after trying twice, once having changed the pagefile, and again having reduced the preload radius to 47,500.  Both times, insta-crash.  What's crazy is that it's specifically this module.  I have many at this point, and it's the only one that gives me problems, and super consistently.  I wouldn't be as upset if I didn't love it so much lol.  It's my second favorite jet.

Yep, booted it up, went straight into starting the campaign, insta-crash again.

Got it to work a few times just now after deleting a couple of lua files and running a repair, not sure if that's a coincidence or not lol

If it still crashes you'll have to try with clean DCS, meaning no mods and these will have to be cleaned (make a backup!):

When having issues such as these, it’s always an excellent idea to disable any mods you’re running, even if they would seem to have nothing to do with the problem. It’s amazing how often a mod for one aircraft will screw up another.

Delete all unofficial mods and do a slow repair of DCS.

The crash occurred inside CockpitBase.dll.
