sweinhart3 Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Anyone know of any dual throttle hotas I can get ahold of? So far Logitech G940 design is only one I can find. Id like something more along the lines of the hotas cougar but mostly I just want one thats close to the A-10 design. Ill settle for logitech if I have to but if something like the old suncom sticks are out there let me know Intel i7 990X, 6GB DDR3, Nvidia GTX 470 x2 SLI, Win 7 x64 http://picasaweb.google.com/sweinhart
JG14_Smil Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 An old Suncom gamport model is a good replica of an A-10 throttle.
CyBerkut Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Triggerhappy posted on a possible source for Suncom Hotas some time ago... http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=474700&postcount=306 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] There's no place like 127.0.0.1
Eddie Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 This is floating around the internet, although there has been no info from Saitek themselves. For the moment I'm holding out and hoping for saitek to release the X65 shortly before/after A10C is released.
joey45 Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Good things come to those who wait..... The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Endoplasmic Reticulum Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 what does that mean?? That means, if you hurry too much to buy something new, you might get disappointed. It's better to wait and compare. I almost did the same by ordering the G940. As I read the article on X65F and some issues with the G940, I decided to cancel my order and wait until the X65F comes out. Imagine I'd have bought the G940 and think that it does'nt suit my needs and the X65F seems to be the ultimate stick, I'd be mad at myself, because I did'nt wait. I used to love her, but I had to kill her I had to put her, six feet under And I can still hear her complain A tribute to BBetty and NNadja :bye_3:
Feuerfalke Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I fear that the x65f will have some problems when it will be released, too. The more complex these things get, the easier they catch a bug. You shouldn't judge the G940 for it's current state. Give them some time to evaluate the feedback from users around the world. Can't be long. I personally prefer the X65F, too, but not because I think it will be better from the start (No X-type joystick had bugfree software and drivers when it was released, don't think that X65F will be different), but because it suits my preferences better.
