PLUTON Posted Wednesday at 01:09 PM Posted Wednesday at 01:09 PM Will we soon no longer be able to use the HP G2 on our computers? I own a G2 myself, and I had to buy a model other than the WMR to replace it. 1

No, with the new Oasis driver you can continue to use your G2, you don't need WMR anymore. 1 Aorus Z370 Ultra Gaming WiFi MB | i7-8700k @ 4.9 GHz | EVGA GTX 1070 Ti | 32 GB CORSAIR Vengeance 3000 MHz DDR4 Ram | Corsair H100 Pro Cooler | RaidMax TX 850M PS | Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2 NVMe SSD |TM Warthog Hotas w/ F/A-18 Hornet grip | Corsair Gamer 570x Crystal Case | Oculus Rift S DCS | AV8B | F18C | F-16C | A10C | Mig 29 | F15 | SA-342 | Huey | Persian Gulf | NTTR | Combined Arms

Tom Kazansky Posted Wednesday at 02:47 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:47 PM Be aware that Oasis driver only works with Nvidia GPUs. Don't know whether support for other GPUs is planed (or possible). 1

PLUTON Posted Friday at 09:03 PM Posted Friday at 09:03 PM I installed my Quest 3 and then connected the Link cable with its built-in battery, but the headset discharges as if there was no cable. Is there something I forgot to do? 1

You either connect it to PC or to the charger. 1 Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 MiG-29A F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria

Yes, I was talking about this cable, but I didn't realize that you had to plug the charger into the box (dumb guy). Now it's done and it works, thanks. I just bought Virtual Desktop Streamer, and it was a bit of a struggle, and I'm waiting in line for them to install it directly on my PC. 2
PLUTON Posted yesterday at 04:06 PM Posted yesterday at 04:06 PM However, even with Virtual Desktop Streamer, when I launch dcs, the setting remains in 2D. What did I forget? 1

What did I forget? Hello Pluton I had the same problem as you my first day. You need to sync Virtual Desktop with Virtual Desktop Streamer (they are 2 different programs). You will use your Meta Username. It sounds complicated but it is not, and takes like 10 min to set-up it all up. Watch both videos below, they explain everything for you : https://youtu.be/kfoxzgGly3E?si=ZyKoxR1wJnD5NOyA Also watch this one below: https://youtu.be/kfoxzgGly3E?si=SjWpxDIiZfxZahmT Edited yesterday at 04:47 PM by The Gryphon
PLUTON Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Thanks for your help, Le Griffon. I managed to get all of this working. But I'm very disappointed by the awful colors in Quest 3. They're not natural. With the HP G2, the graphics almost looked like a photo, but now they look like a comic strip. Either Quest 3 is like that, or I missed something in the settings. 1

I have not idea if it works with VR but perhaps worth a test? I am more focused on multiplayer performence in VR so I haven't really tested it out Spuds demonstration how simple weather adjustments make a massive impact on the Syria map (it is really worth watching the full video, trust me the difference is huge) Edited 4 hours ago by The Gryphon

PLUTON Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Thanks, Draconus, now I know what you're talking about. System: lut off; Well, after a few small adjustments here and there, it looks like the image on my HP.G2. A few more adjustments in Open XR Toolkit, and I should be able to do it. But honestly, it's taking a long time to set up. Thanks again for your help. Have a good flight.
