Will we soon no longer be able to use the HP G2 on our computers?
I own a G2 myself, and I had to buy a model other than the WMR to replace it.

No, with the new Oasis driver you can continue to use your G2, you don't need WMR anymore.

Please note that the Oasis driver only works with Nvidia GPUs. I don't know if support for other GPUs is planned (or possible).

YES, they are working on making the driver work with AMD.👍

I installed my Quest 3 and then connected the Link cable
with its built-in battery, but the headset discharges as if
there was no cable. Is there something I forgot to do?

There's only one USB-C port. You either connect it to PC or to the charger.

You can get a third party cable with a charging port.

Yes, I was talking about this cable, but I didn't realize that you had to plug the charger into the box (dumb guy). Now it's done and it works, thanks.
I just bought Virtual Desktop Streamer, and it was a bit of a struggle, and I'm waiting in line for them to install it directly on my PC.

However, even with Virtual Desktop Streamer,
when I launch dcs, the setting remains in 2D.
What did I forget?

Hello Pluton I had the same problem as you my first day. You need to sync Virtual Desktop with Virtual Desktop Streamer (they are 2 different programs). You will use your Meta Username. It sounds complicated but it is not, and takes like 10 min to set-up it all up.

Watch both videos below, they explain everything for you 🙂:

Thanks for your help, Le Griffon.
I managed to get all of this working.
But I'm very disappointed by the awful colors in Quest 3.
They're not natural. With the HP G2, the graphics almost looked like a photo, but now they look like a comic strip.
Either Quest 3 is like that, or I missed something in the settings.

Check DCS options > system: color theme. Or those VD apps.

Hey Pluton perhaps try using Reshade + adjusting weather are what you are looking for? I have not idea if it works with VR but perhaps worth a test? I am more focused on multiplayer performence in VR so I haven't really tested it out 😀

Spuds demonstration how simple weather adjustments make a massive impact on the Syria map (it is really worth watching the full video, trust me the difference is huge)

Thanks, Draconus, now I know what you're talking about.

System: lut off;
Well, after a few small adjustments here and there, it looks like the image on my HP.G2.
A few more adjustments in Open XR Toolkit, and I should be able to do it.
But honestly, it's taking a long time to set up.
Thanks again for your help.
Have a good flight.👍:pilotfly:

Bonjour,
