Hello,
Apart from formatting Windows 10 and then reinstalling Windows 11,
what will happen to DCS when I reinstall it?
What advice could you give me so I don't forget
important things to do?
Thank you for your help.

Hi

you should be fine if you are doing a upgrade of windows.

Just do a cloud backup of your dcs folder in saved games.

You may find the hardware ID's change for your input devices and you have to import them again from the backup.

Thank you for your reply, Mr. BIGNEWY.
I didn't know I could just upgrade!
I thought I had to do a fresh install without upgrading my Windows 10 Pro.
Thanks again, that will be easier.👍😘

No problem, I did the upgrade option for my windows 11 install and it went smoothly.

Was it a free upgrade?  I assume you have a licensed copy of W10 as I do.

this might help if you have issues with joystick ID's changing and you loose your bindings

I have a license key for Windows 10
but I still bought a license key for Windows 11, which I paid €0.50 for at Cdiscount, so it cost practically
nothing.
