Slice313 Posted Saturday at 01:06 PM Posted Saturday at 01:06 PM Things will slowly start going south without minimum maintenance. That is a fact. DCS is constantly evolving, and modules have to follow up. 1
AdrianL Posted Saturday at 06:52 PM Posted Saturday at 06:52 PM The PolyChop situation is discussed here. Basically devs left as they were not paid by PolyChop. Time linked to where the discussion starts. 3 1
Ornithopter Posted yesterday at 02:49 AM Posted yesterday at 02:49 AM Polly, It's been a while. Would you like to have a drink with me sometime, just to catch up? Orni 2

The experience with ED is that with each update, they fix things and break others (it's logical). If the models don't have updates to correct this, they end up breaking too. This isn't a wish, it's a concern of a Kiowa lover. 1
Devil 505 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Just want to kind of set the tone here because I have been tracking the word from ED, Polychop Discord, and news straight from them. First and foremost @BIGNEWY has reached out multiple times to Polychop for some follow ups to questions and received no response. A while back (can't remember the date) it was officially announced internally they had lost a significant number of employees. Polychop stated very clearly this had nothing to do with Eagle Dynamics or any sort of payment problems from ED, it was 100% an internal conflict. Several months later they laid our worries to rest stating their 2 helos would continue to be supported and they were working on hiring new staff. The message came with a welcomed response and they said they were still in the game and not going anywhere. Since that last post, the only thing out of Polychop was the article posted below from 02/24/2025. I will not start rumors because I know nothing official other than the fact they have not responded to the community on the ED Forums, Discord, Youtube Videos, or their Facebook since their last post below. We can speculate all day and stir the hate train until this thread gets shut down, but bottom line is, until someone speaks up from Polychop, we will remain in the dark. 1 2
Etask Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Well, this is not looking good. I wanted to get the oh58 when it came out and now I'm glad I didn't. Too bad because it's a nice bird. Developer's behavior is going to affect current sales, and set a bad mood on current owners. A quick word does not cost anything, time or effort wise. Unless something is extremely wrong. It is what it is, in one word: disappointing. I will stop here as I don't want to go off topic with 3rd party developers in general. I'll be very careful where to drop my $ from now on. Hope to be proven wrong and receive good news from Polychop.
RealDCSpilot Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago It's sad to see that Polychop is up for bad news again. As if 7 years with no helicopter flight model for the Gazelle wasn't enough. i9 13900K @5.5GHz, Z790 Gigabyte Aorus Master, RTX4090 Waterforce, 64 GB DDR5 @5600, PSVR2, Pico 4 Ultra, HOTAS & Rudder: all Virpil with Rhino FFB base made by VPforce, DCS: all modules
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted 4 hours ago ED Team Posted 4 hours ago Folks the purpose of this thread has been completed, we have passed on your feedback, now it just seems people want to pile on the team.
