Rikus Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 It will be cool, that in future patch/module, includes a bench, like Arma2 or other games. Greetings

Waldo_II Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Rikus decided that the extra time and effort to add the four letters in "mark" after the word "bench" would not be compensated by the added ease of understanding that would result from doing so. 2

Deigs Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Just upload some of the most hardcore busy videos in DCS, watch the framerates. Use that as a benchmark? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 161 Squadron Australia's DCS Community

Doc. Caliban Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Being a gamer of 20 years, I knew what 'bench' meant without pause, as I'm sure everyone else here did. And yes, I agree that it would be nice to have one. However, wouldn't one of the included tracks played in a certain default view function as a benchmark? All we need is something that everyone can run in the exact same way save for graphics settings. Then we can get some tangible results to compare to. I've never run any of the included tracks; can someone suggest which one might be hardest on the system run from the default F2 view? -Doc [ Asus Rampage II Extreme | Intel i7 920 @ 3.6GHz| 12GB DDR3 | 3-Way SLI (3x GTX280OC 1GB) | 300GB Raptor | SupremeFX X-Fi 7.1 audio | 1,200W Thermaltake Toughpower PSU | 30" LCD @ 2560x1600 | Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar | TrackIR 5 | CoolerMaster HFC 332 case ]
