Horribly Misleading I would have thought, lest ED/Dev's want a Virtual Lynch-Mob on their Hands that not even GG and his Squadron of Budgies will be able to Placate :P

Q: Will all Flaming Cliffs 2.0 flyable aircraft now have the Advance Flight Model (AFM) system?

 

A: The Su-25 and Su-25T most certainly will and will have some performance tweaks. The other aircraft will have the Standard Flight Model (SFM) but will see more realistic performance in regards to such items as climb rates, acceleration, and top speeds.

 

That mean that all Other Aircraft beside the Su25 will be scripted and fly like crap as FC 1.0 .. What a disappointment !!! Hopefully the SU25's will have a 3D cockpit and at list one aircraft will be ok.. So basically after a lots of years we have one aircraft and one helico that fly well and the rest is AI scripted like FM.

Why can't they do all AFM and done with it.. and change those 2D cockpit a la FS2002..

Whilst your Capacity to Moan is Astounding when having regard to your Track Record to date, I am sure that you'll agree that more gets Done by actually Addressing the Problem, no? ;)

 

Presuming your Agreement to the Afore-Said and having due regard to the Tentative Info at present that confirms the incorporation of the DCS Engine to LockOn (Probable applicability of DCS Support Packages to LockOn Platinum), why do you not Channel your Energies currently directed at Absolutely Nothing Constructive apart from Irritation Bordering on Argumentative Incitement and Direct said Energy to the Following:

In an effort to better support 3rd party development of Digital Combat Simulator (DCS), Eagle Dynamics will create a set of plug-ins that will allow 3rd party developers far greater capability to modify and add to DCS. Current plug-in support includes:

 

• 6 DOF Cockpit Builder. This plug-in allows object builders to create new 6 DOF cockpits that can be assigned to DCS user-created aircraft.
  

• External Flight Model Linking. This software package allows the linking of 3rd party flight dynamic systems into DCS to control aircraft.
  

 

That way you can at Least attempt a Start to rectify all the Perceived Wrongs that currently exist , ie CockPits/Flight Model as you have mentioned. Worth a Thought, No? :)

Yes the Devs need to hear the critics as well, Lets members talk and maybe the sim will get some serious changes.

 

Each time someone complain about a problem that exist from the beginning and each time they get shut down.. lets the complaints roars or we will get again disappointed

When it is the truth why irritation ? just agree and the end .

All aircraft beside the Su25T/TM are bad .. Truth.. end of complaint.. agreement .. End.

 

I understand you Viper and agree as well but here.

Since when LO forum and sim started i've been coming here and read, than FC came along and nothing much changed as the users and the devs it's like everthing is stuck in early 2004 no change on FM on atmosphere physics or any actually.

And then i read this guys doing the competition disqualifying the only good flying aircraft and on top no wind what so ever or any turbulence ..??/ not even navigation... nothing changed..

I do have experiences on FM and real flight and each time when i read this forum it drive me nuts..

3rd party developer is everyone not connected to ED, individuals included. Even repaints made by community are made by 3rd party developers.

Obviously LO FC 2.0 is not completly new. Everyone knows that. ED have already announced what they are updating so why ask about new features, in this thread anyway? Be happy for what we will get and make the suggestions for DCS. All is good.

This was dormant but maybe it is worth waking it.. I mean imagine the fun flying 2 in one aircraft..!!! an other dimension!!!!

IIRC, this function has not been possible since the multiplayer code was changed in Flaming Cliffs 1.1 and it is not currently supported.

According to FAQ it is either

 

LO + LO FC + LO FC 2.0 downloadable

 

or

 

LO + LO FC 2.0 boxed DVD

 

For this to be "fair" LO FC + LO FC 2.0 downloadable has to cost as much as LO FC 2.0 boxed DVD.

If this would be so, It won't be so nice, because I think the DVD idea is quite good, I would definitely buy it, but if time comes into balance..I will go for the downloadable.
