Hurry,January 2010

You can't wait 3 days????

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Well, then it wouldn't matter anyway ;)

Those still exist? O.o

I'm just guessing here, but I would expect it to be about the same size as DCS:BS since a lot of the components are common.

any specific date on jan 2010?

Sometime around the back half of Jan 2010. Mmmm; Isn't we supposed to be in a space station next to Jupiter right about now? :joystick:

1. Because a lot of people had different timezones... :music_whistling:

2. Because nearly everybody at this time will be "drunk" :holiday::smoke::drink:

Hope when I'll be full sober after party there will be info about release... ahh dreamings...

Unfortunately, in Russia there's the "Old New Year", on the 13th, IIRC. And, before that, there's still the Orthodox Christmas on the 7th.

So, basically, immediatly after the folks at ED beat their hangovers from the previous, they'll probably get another. Three in a row, so to say...

Good luck with the head-aches, guys :D!

Nope. If u use also 1.12 SF will check your CD.

I want to install FC2 over FC. I don't want to use 1.12 anymore so it should install new proactive version of SF and disable old one.

I don't know if this is the right thread to post it, but there's a not important but still annoying but with the Su-25T regarding to the pylons.

When you've jettisoned the ordenance on the inner pylons (didn't test with weapons loaded on it) and your wings break, the pylons are still floating there, just like if the wing was on. Tested it in the Su-25T quick mission - after dropping all the weapons and pods (in the inner pylon, a Vikhr is hanging), I dived and pulled fast, with some high-G involved. Both wings went off, but I could still see the inner pylon hanging as if nothing happened.

Was this minor issue solved in 2.0?

Have you verified that it's not a question of that being how the pipes are run? For example, in the Ka50 the external tanks have pumps that feed the internal tanks - not the engines - wherefore you would be drinking fuel from your internals and use the externals to refill the internal tanks.

I haven't checked what the normal plumbing is for external tanks though.

Well, it depends, really. If you are using the fuel in your internal tanks and continually refill them from the externals, there really is no difference between having direct lines from the wingtanks. However, you do have the security of not risking engine starvation if you have to very suddenly drop the tanks - no need to flip fuel valves and pumps to start drinking from the internal tanks.

That said, I don't know what the actual function is in reality for the aircraft simulated in FC2, but to my mind the system used by the Ka-50 is pretty good.

It does make sense what you say, but my point is, that in LO, when i use a half of fuel load and drop externals i'm left with virtually no juice at all. Unless there is a option to refill internals with fuel from externals during flight and i just simply don't know how to do it.

ED's release date follows Eisenberg's principle of uncertainty: the more you try probe it the less likely it is to get a straight answer. :D

It's HEISENBERG for crying out loud.

And the correct formulation would be: The more probes you take the more vague your answer will be.

Once you "probed" (have information) about the system, you can never (not a matter of statistics) get the "straight" answer. ;)
