EinsteinEP Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 (edited) In anticipation of DCS:A-10C, I started creating a checklist. I don't have any A-10C docs (yet!) so I started with the A-10A, but thought I'd share.A10A_startup_rev001.pdf Edited June 19, 2010 by EinsteinEP 2 Shoot to Kill. Play to Have Fun.
Avilator Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 I can only see the first page. I only respond to that little mechanical voice that says "Terrain! Terrain! Pull Up! Pull Up!" EinsteinEP Posted June 20, 2010 Author Posted June 20, 2010 Search for: - A-10A manual - A-10A operations procedures And you have some real guidelines. kind regards, fireAbsolutely true! Which is why I used the USAF TO 1A-10A-1 (Change 8, dated 15 March 1988) to generate this checklist. There is a ton more info in the manual that is not (yet) in the checklist document I generated. And note that this checklist is for the A-10A, not the C. I expect there will be a lot of common items, but the checklist will need to be updated once I get more info on the A-10C. Anybody have an A-10C checklist/manual they can share? Shoot to Kill. Play to Have Fun.
Eddie Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Nicely done EinstienEP. Working on something very similar myself, currently doing the same as you and using the A-10A flight manuals, although I am adding known differences where I can. Obviously much like yourself I won't be able to complete the project until after DCS:A-10C is released and I've had some time to work with it. I also plan on including emergency and weapon deployment check lists as well as performance and threat charts. If you've seen Gunny's check lists from Falcon 4 mine will follow a similar format. It's great to see other people out there with the same idea as me when it comes to trying to do things for the community. Hopefully in time we'll see just as many resources for A-10C as there are for Falcon now.
Smoky Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Glad to see so many efforts underway before the product is out! You guys are awesome. Per the discussion: collaboration can be a good thing fellas!

Eddie Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Yeah sorry, it's a link to an old revision which no longer exists. I can't give a link to the current version (still WIP) due to my current location and limited internet access. The project is on hold at the moment (once again due to my deployment) but I do plan to have the checklists out sometime early next year, for the most part they are finnished, just the emergency checklists and weapons employment checklists to go.

Deadman Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Its the Pilot's check list it covers emergency procedures, normal procedures, and performance data. The upgrade to C model covers new avionics the other systems are the same as the A model. This check list is still permanent to the Hydraulic, electrical, fuel, O2, engine, flight control, landing gear, and general systems. The pages are 4x8. If there is enough interest i will scan it and email out the copies. I would like to recover the cost so any cost will be pmed to interested parties thanks. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.

Deadman Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Cost of the manual and the time to scan a bout 200 pages that will not auto feed do to the unusual size. It realy does not matter there has been very little response https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.
Deadman Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 This is a sample of the quality the program i have does not support the size 4.5x8 inch and smaller so i will see what i can do or have it professionally scanned if there is enough interest. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.
