It always saddens me when a former trance/techno star goes soft or some other quasi-rhytm poink-poinks :) I'm glad nowadays you can always go back and listen to whatever you want.

:shocking:

Regarding those who passed away. Without the internet I was cut off the information on the artists I once cared about and learned that some of them have passed away long time ago...

Peter Paul Pigmans (3 Steps Ahead) - year 2003

Melanie Thornton (once with La Bouche) - airplane crash in 2001

People will still be listening to Scooter in two hundred years, after the nuclear apocalypse...

Scooter newcommer pro-tip:

Prefer the tracks where Baxter shuts his yap. :D

Some solid trance and techno you may find.

The Knife:

80's inspired styles are so prominent these days. I like it!

BTW, Scooter had an 80's episode as well ;)

Look up "celebrate the nun" if you're adventurous.

Yup, but they have managed to achieve that only with the original band composition

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scooter_%28band%29#/media/File:Scooter_1Chapter.jpg

As soon as Ferris Bueller left the band they started veering off.

Their first four albums were:

1. ...And the Beat Goes On! (1995)

2. Our Happy Hardcore (1996)

3. Wicked! (1996)

4. Age of Love (1997)

The first two are pretty consistent in style, same for 3rd and 4th (consistent with each other) and the 4th album is the last one done by the original Scooter.

Yes, it does that for the aural abominations some people tend to post here... :devil_2:

SCNR :D

Uncheck "Automatically embed media (requires automatic parsing of links in text to be on)." in the misc options, that should do the trick.
