Hansolo Posted June 19, 2017 Posted June 19, 2017 You're welcome. I got a full set of those and they are nicely made. No bubbles or anything. Cheers Hans 132nd Virtual Wing homepage & 132nd Virtual Wing YouTube channel My DCS-BIOS sketches & Cockpit Album
Mr.Fenestron Posted June 19, 2017 Posted June 19, 2017 My only concern is, what if dm does make whole components at some point in the future, would I be able to purchase it without the knobs or ship them back. It would be easier to get a complete working component already put together... But those knobs do look very nice.
Deadman Posted June 19, 2017 Author Posted June 19, 2017 I am not sure what you mean by a working component? If you are concerned that I will start making plug and play NVIS back lit control panels I would not worry. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.

If you're looking for built-backlit-wired plug-n-play type, check out http://lynx.dk/ They are starting to make complete panels. Deadman Posted June 19, 2017 Author Posted June 19, 2017 Please don't recommend parts sellers in my thread thanks https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.
AstroEma Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 I am not sure I looked at putting them on Shapway. I have casted knobs in the past. I would need to remold my knobs to sell any.It would all depend on the demand. I'd be interested in the Shapeway option for sure. Please let us know if that happens. Mr.Fenestron Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Lets take bets on how long it takes for their stocks (if traded openly) to depreciate by a factor of 2. What a stupid business decision...
Boltz Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 No way I'm gonna pay $400 a year now from a free service. Guess imgur is the way to go now A-10C Cockpit Build Thread My YouTube Channel

agrasyuk Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 (edited) Fotki.com are running "fotobucket victim" campain. They did drop their free/ad sponsored hosting plan long time ago, but still have a very reasonable pricing I think -24$ per year (I purchased several years in advance). Unlike many others they host full sized images. I'm with them for over 10 years now, things been mostly reliable, my motorcycling days pictures are still up and visible on the bike forums I used to frequent: http://www.vn750.com/forum/login.php?do=login#/topics/7470?page=1 Edited July 5, 2017 by agrasyuk Anton. Thadiun Okona Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 imgur has been pretty much the best free image hosting site for years now, just keep your pic collection under 400 before starting another account or you start losing pics unless you pay but still appears the best for functionally embedding pics in threads across multiple forum formats where others fail or have drawbacks that make what you are trying to share less convenient to for your audience...
