I've tried maping the Keypad keys for (zoom in and out) directly to slider in SST and that didn't work, I also tried it within BS contol settings and tuning but that didn't work either. when I do click and hilite a box within bs controls I normally can press any button and it recognises it, but when I try with the slider it doesn't recognize it?

As noted above by Slug88 when in axis commands, just click in the "zoom view" box under the X-52 column then click add. Move the slider back and forth and it will assign it automatically.

The best way to do it is in the SST program. Do a banded set up 10% 80% 10% the top and botom 10% will be the key commands for zoom in/out. The middle 80% blank. I have found this to be the best setup and the slider tends to do the gitter bug a bit.

Why the way around the world when it's around the corner? As previously said - map the zoom axis in the options - controlers - axis commands.

I did try mapping it in controls/axis and yes it was easier and it worked, but the slider pot was to twitchy for zoom.
