slug88 Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 It should be pretty straightforward from the axis tune page? What are you trying to do to make it work? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
hollywoody Posted September 27, 2010 Author Posted September 27, 2010 I've tried maping the Keypad keys for (zoom in and out) directly to slider in SST and that didn't work, I also tried it within BS contol settings and tuning but that didn't work either. when I do click and hilite a box within bs controls I normally can press any button and it recognises it, but when I try with the slider it doesn't recognize it? slug88 Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 You need to go to the Axis Tune page to map axes. On the top left of the control mapping screen, there's a drop down menu, and one of the options is Axis Tune written in red. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
hollywoody Posted September 27, 2010 Author Posted September 27, 2010 thanks I'll try that tonite.... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] http://WWW.VFA-113.COM ________________________ Win 8.1 i5-3570 3.4ghz-Trackir5-TM Warthog - Pro-Saitek Combat Rudders-Viso 43" 4k"
Sarge55 Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 As noted above by Slug88 when in axis commands, just click in the "zoom view" box under the X-52 column then click add. Move the slider back and forth and it will assign it automatically. CAT_101st Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 The best way to do it is in the SST program. Do a banded set up 10% 80% 10% the top and botom 10% will be the key commands for zoom in/out. The middle 80% blank. I have found this to be the best setup and the slider tends to do the gitter bug a bit. HitchHikingFlatlander Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 I gave up on the slider because of the jitters with the X52. I now have it assigned to a trim wheel but I can do that because I have a separate collective control. Free's up all the X52 throttle inputs for other misc. things! http://dcs-mercenaries.com/ USA Squad

As previously said - map the zoom axis in the options - controlers - axis commands. F-5E simpit cockpit dimensions and flight controls Kill the Bloom - shader glow mod Poor audio Doppler effect in DCS [bug] Trees - huge performance hit especially up close
hollywoody Posted September 30, 2010 Author Posted September 30, 2010 I did try mapping it in controls/axis and yes it was easier and it worked, but the slider pot was to twitchy for zoom.
