the HUD looks very small... is it smaller than the one on A version? Or is an effect from the field of view?

It changes depending on zoom more than field of view I think.

If you don't use TrackIR it's perfect, if you use TrackIR, even moving forward to doesn't increase the size, you have to use zoom to see it.

I find the right balance of being able to see it and look around the pit.

Exactly :) GA, It didn't even cross my mind to put it in opposition to your work. Different things. Now, when it's about a new product I will always prefer an informative vids over any sim movie masterpiece. BTW, I like the naming convention you came up with ;)
