they're a pain in the you know what. (MAverick)

Totally agree on that! Tried to kill 3 tanks for half an hour and all I hit was a brdge and a road. This Mavoptics are really unsharp, must have missied something.

I like the fact that Ground units begin to leave theire convoy scattering after your first pass with the Gau.

I like the sun and its effects.

If you look directly into the sun, it's like in real life. The screen becomes darker. And when you look in another direction, it takes a moment, until your screen is normal, again.

39,130ft, the result can be seen here. http://img59.imageshack.us/f/dcshighaltitude.jpg/

But according to the manual anything above 13,000ft is enough. "Note: It will be important that you mind your oxygen supply. If it runs out and you are above 13,000 feet, you will suffer the effects of hypoxia and lose consciousness."

The A10C has obogs. as long as the system is functional you dont run out. I guess they didnt model that.

On Board Oxygen Generation System. uses engine bleed air and super concentrates oxygen molecules making breathable air. LOX is obsoleet.

Now where is that speed brakes control again?

Don't know if anybody has mentioned yet, but all the circuit breakers on the panel in front of and below the control stick is clickable.

That the oil pressure drops a bit when pressing the brakes or moving the flight controls.

Two things:

1) When you land a squat switch on the real aircraft's left main gear allows for 100% extension of the airbrake. In flight the airbrake is limited to 80%. This is modeled in the sim.

2) Mach tuck! As the aircraft approaches its limiting mach it displays mach tuck, this is modeled in the sim!

When you move your stick after you land and shut down your engines, the hydraulic pressure starts to go down and after a while, the stick will respond less and less.

... Speed brake deflection in flight is also dependent on aerodynamic force... At 300+ kts they won't open to 80%...

Wheels turning after T/O and they will stop if you hit the brakes.

They also stop spinning when you select the landing gear up (as per real A/C). Nosewheel keeps spinning obviously...

The Front nose wheel light turns with your nose gear. Very helpfull during taxi to know where you front wheel is.

Also, the not enough can be said on the ground handling. It just feels so right!

You can hear the wind resistance when you lower your gear. Also, the pitch of the aircraft drops from the drag of the landing gear.

You get the full sim, it's just that there are "parts" here and there that are not fully implemented.

One example: AI voices over the radio for JTAC and Towers.

The full expierience, except the things that are not finished yet. Be aware that it is a beta, so there are still bugs.

Was just flying an instant action mission learning to use the radios and got sick of having my view squashed against the HUD so I zoomed out a bit and was banking steeply coming round for another pass when I noticed the clouds being reflected in the paint on the nose of the plane !! now thats attention to detail.
