What online Squads are gonna fly A10C hardcore?

Mower, most of us are in the US and Canada, some in UK and Europe. time zones vary but mostly in US, weekends is when our European members can more easily come on.

 

Hey Dane, bring em all bud, by hardcore i mean we try to do things as realistic as possible when flying, and when we fly we mean business :P but in the squad we don't have any bogus ranks to go through or anything like that. its just hop on, fly, learn and have fun.

Hey Boomer just glanced at your site for WarHawks. Looks like you guys are something i have been looking for in a squad. My biggest issue is my work schedule and not being able to find any one on the west coast. Just curious if your group has any west coast players in it. I have all the sims you guys play so definetly interested.

We've got several West Coasties and we've picked up a couple more this week. A few of our members from other time zones have no idea what a bed is for. *grin* I'm Central time myself and I left that crew at 4AM this morning. We typically schedule events around 9PM or so Eastern, but with the influx of Pac time folks we are working on scheduling later events as well, so there should be plenty of people available to fly with.

Whatever it is man that 'hardcore thing', don't get too much engrossed in it. Games are known to induce insanity, fighters might not but ground ponders do. People like to put troops and stingers in group on ground and like annihilate them with their guns or rockets over and over again and for me thats insanity.

people who are in it for kills and gun running things and for the explosions wont be here for long, they will go back to their modern warfail mindless button mashing game soon enough. for those who are into tactics, coordination, strategy, flying with others to complete a challenging task might be here for a great deal longer.

Sounds good! I work for the cable company out here in San Diego and my shift rotates plus add on the 10hr work days and getting off at 6:30 it makes it a little tuff to find a good group of likle minded individuals to fly with on a normal basis. I will be camping this weekend but am off all next week so i will hit you guys up then.

Good post Mower. I was wondering the same, but will not be able to start until after Christmas cuz I'm waiting for my hog stick and I'm going away.

 

I'd like to start from scratch with a training program because this is a different beast then Falcon. :book:

 

I like realistic weapons, ramp starting, brief/debrief, realistic flight model, no labels, etc, but if you are so serious there's no kidding around I'm not interested. I like to talk and have but in the air the recess face comes off :)

Most squads can rate their level of hardcore between 1 and 10. At 3Sqn, we go to 11.

No thanks. I did hang around DFA a few time but it just was not for me No assumption was made my statement was made from my experience in dealing with your members. Your post show not much changes.

From what I'm seeing, not yet, we're trying to come up with a good roleplaying excuse to steal a couple of them for our squad nights.

159th is flying mainly russian birds.

But then again, Viper & I will have one stowed away in the backyard. :P

 

EDIT: I've just recieved word that DCS:UAZ is good to go though, since it's russian.

Not seeing a whole lotta options. The 16th ACCW seems to be the only large wing I can find that is transitioning to DCS A10C exclusively.

its always the best decision to choose a squadron that suits you and your lifestyle

 

so the question is what you want to get out of the game ?

 

some squads fly for fun, some fly to learn or increase skills, some fly just to shoot stuff down and watch things burn

 

spend some time and shop around.
