EvilBivol-1 Posted December 7, 2010 Author Posted December 7, 2010 Couse the system is not telling anymore about the keycombination only hotas here and hotas there!! Has anyone the same problems? We were careful to include the default keyboard commands in the instructor scripts for all input requests during the missions. Is there a problem with this? - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy. Everything takes much longer. The Parable of Jane's A-10 Forum Rules

El_Roto Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Failure to Complete Maverick Training I must be shooting the wrong targets or something - I get an "attaboy" from the Instructor after my first missle hits but I don't hear from him after the instructions to set-up for the second pass. I don't get a mission completed from him even if all four Mavs score hits. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated! Deigs Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 (edited) edit - I'm an idiot, the missions work fine. When I press Pause Break the keyboard is hyper sensitive, and just pauses again... Edited December 8, 2010 by Deigs [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 161 Squadron Australia's DCS Community
El_Roto Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Figured it out, was shooting at the wrong tanks on the second shot (got my directions confused). Dumb, eh? RIFLE_JTAC_TRAINING Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Fellas, I have downloaded the missions and placed them in their respective folders but the old ones still operate. Do I have to erase the old items in the folder for the new missions to be seen? Please don't think less of me. You don't have to replace the existing training mission files. Do this: 1. Go to your DCS A-10C Beta/Missions/ folder 2. Create a new folder in there called "New Training" (or some thing like that) 3. Copy the new training missions in there. 4. Now load the game and access the new training missions like you where just loading a one off mission. (eg: Click Mission on the main menu and pick what training you want to do) Specs: GA-Z87X-UD3H, i7-4770k, 16GB, RTX2060, SB AE-5, 750watt Corsair PSU, X52, Track IR4, Win10x64. -Ice Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Quick query. I downloaded the missions from the link in the first post of this thread, installed Beta 4 (full install), then located each tutorial in Beta 4 and replaced it with the tutorials from the download. Is that all that is needed to play the new tutorials? I think I read somewhere that the tutorials needed to be opened via the Missions screen and not the Tutorial screen, so I'm a bit confused now. Cheers! - Ice

Frederf Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 In the A-A the tutorial gets stuck just after it tells me to move behind target1 for an AIM-9 shot. The condition TIME SINCE FLAG (20,8) was never met and would never actually tell me to shoot. I removed or edited the condition to allow progress and the rest of the mission proceeds normally.
